As a guy who has just come out of a long term relationship their is no easy way that you can say this to him, You just have to bite the bullet and do it,
But make sure its what you really want to do because i taught the same as you do now and i regret it so much,

It will be hard for both of ye but their is really no easy way of donig it,
thats in my experience anyway

Try a bit of space for maybe too weeks, But m,ake sure that you explaine why you need the space and what you need it for,
And make sure their is no contact..
I wanted space but never told her why and after the two weeks i realised that she is the love of my life and iwas scared to commit, but it was too late when i realised this,

Good luck but make sure it is really what you want
