I have been dating this girl since senior year of high school. I fell in love. We were very passionate until I went to college. For the first semester she missed me like crazy but I was getting a taste of college (I went to an all boys college mind you). She now goes to a nearby college mainly to be close to me. I more and more wanted to experience new people, people i found more attractive. It eventually led me to break up with her and I felt satisfied. We recently got back together for a couple of reasons. First is that I missed her and really do love her. Second is that she was not taking it well and I did feel bad. But now things aren't the same. It's missing something. I think it's mainly because I still want to see other people, but I can really see myself marrying this girl. Am I being a typical guy? What should I do that would be better in the long run?

Well it is certainly human nature to be always wanting more; wanting both the pie and the cake...

But nonetheless, I would say the reconciliation did not happened for no reasons. Even if you want to, she might not just want it. It is a mutual thing. The fact that the both of you are now back together just shows that the both of you still love each other.

Anyway, since you mentioned that you can really be seeing yourself marrying her, I would suppose she is a really nice girl? Nice girl are hard to come by... Yes, that may be a lot of other people out there but we wouldn't really know if you meet another girl just like her.

I can't be really giving you much of a suggestion. It is your choice Viper0715. Whatever the case may be, the thing you should be asking yourself would be, Are you happy? At the end of the day, you still have to just be honest with yourself...

All I can say is that, Happiness won't come dropping by twice. Do give yourself a little more time with her. If you feel that this is the happiness you want, then cherish it...

I agree with "scorpio". I a bit older and I went through something similiar. thinking about an ex. Long story, it's posted under breakups. But I can say "the grass is NOT always greener". If you feel you can marry her than cherish her. it's rare for this to come along. Sadly I think my chance is gone forever. If youu have her do your best to keep her. It's not a kind world out there and the older you get the chances diminish.

Good luck!

soooo....you basically just want to sleep with other people and you obviously don't feel shes attractive enough for you if your saying your MORE attracted to other people. You need to break up with her and stop dragging her along with your 'games'. I'm just giving you a girls point of view, not trying to be harsh. What your doing isn't cool. If you love her and want to see other people let her go. Personally I don't think you love her, if you did you wouldn't want to see anyone else. The sad truth is, she probably won't marry you anyway if you see other people then try to go back with her. Your treating her like 2nd class and expecting someone to be with you someday. You obviously need this, but don't expect her to be around later in life. Who knows it could happen. It might be good for you both to see other people. Its better to figure out NOW your curious then down the road when your engaged or something..... just please don't cheat on her at least break up with her before it gets to that point. Goodluck .
