I met the love of my life some thirty-four years ago, but I did not realize it until I got to know her. By then, it was too late, and it seemed that she had found the man of her dreams, who was not me. We both moved on with our careers and I never saw her again. I never married.

A year ago, I Googled her name and learned that she had never married either. I contacted her, but she did not want to see me. I was devasted. To blunt my pain, I wrote our story which I titled "The Path Not Taken". It is too long to post here. I set up a website as a tribute to her and my undying love for her.

The site has our story, as well as hundreds of beautiful nature pictures that I photographed, some short stories that I wrote, and links to the most beautiful love songs that very few people have ever heard. I work on the site almost every day. It gives me a connection to her. Building the site has brought me some comfort and I would like to share it with others.
